Rocket League Half Flip Guide - How To Do The Key Move For Winning Games?

Struggling to make your opponents feel defeated? Well no problem! I know exactly how it feels after losing many games and feeling terrible. But, what can you do about it? There are many useful Rocket League tips to get better but there is one unique trick helped you excel the most! 

The half flip. This is a key move most players use to succeed in winning games. Usually, this is used to get back to your own goal to defend. It is also useful to get back up from being hit by another player. Also, this move can be used to flick the ball. To do this, you will have to jump, flip backwards, cancel the flip and spin. Spinning or rotating on a keyboard would be using q or e depending on what you feel. On controller you would probably use X. To do a flip cancel, you will have to flip then half way in, try to stop your car from going that direction. This should end with your car facing at an angle towards the opposite way you were going. It will take many tries but once you have it down, it gets easier and easier. This move helps you turn around more effectively and quickly. I worked on this trick for days but once I had it down, it was one of the most useful tricks I needed to change my play style.
